How to Apply (Peel-and-Stick) Press-On Nails Like a Pro?
- Step1: Trim / File and Buff the nails if necessary.
- Step2: Clean the nails – Gently push the edges of the nails with the Manicure Stick to remove excess cutin. Then use a Prep pad to remove moisture and oil from the surface of the nails.
- Step3: Choose the suitable jelly gel(nail adhesive sticker).
- Step4: Tear off the glue tabs and stick it on your nail.
Important tip:use the cuticle stick to make the jelly glue stretched completely on nails, then peel the protective film off - Step5: choose the suitable fake nail,Fit it and press for 60 seconds (Do not soak in water in 2hours after completion)
Important tip:When applying press-ons, bring the nail right up to your cuticle line and apply at a downward angle. Follow by applying pressure to the center of the nail and pinching at both sides to solidify the adhesive or glue. - Step6: File the nail if necessary.
How to Remove Press-On Nails Without Nail Damage?
- Use a cuticle pusher to loosen the nail
You can also use a cuticle pusher to get underneath the nail and slowly work it off. Use the pointed end of a wooden cuticle pusher to get between your natural nail and the fake nail. Then, slowly start rolling the cuticle pusher back and forth to loosen the nail.
Roll the cuticle pusher down from the cuticle towards the tip of your nail. Don’t start from the tip and work backwards.
- Peel off the leftover adhesive and clean nails
After you have taken off all of the nails, go back over your nails and peel off any remaining adhesive. You can also use the cuticle pusher to help you scrape this adhesive off of your nails.
If the adhesive does not seem to budge, then you can try soaking your nails in warm water or applying a bit of nail polish remover with a cotton ball.
